Spring Park Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy serving the Lake Minnetonka area. We know our patients by name, and we practice pharmacy the way it's supposed to be practiced — with time to counsel, solve problems, and follow up. The Role:

We're hiring a part-time staff pharmacist to share coverage with our pharmacy team. This is a hands-on dispensing and patient-care role in a small, collaborative setting where you'll work directly alongside our technicians and the PIC.

What You'll Do:

Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
Perform drug utilization review — check for interactions, contraindications, allergies, and dosing appropriateness.
Counsel patients on medications, OTC products, and self-care.
Resolve third-party billing issues, prior authorizations, and rejected claims.
Contact prescribers to clarify orders and recommend therapeutic alternatives.
Administer immunizations and provide point-of-care services.
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and support staff.
Maintain compliance with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, HIPAA, and PMP reporting.
Oversee inventory, ordering, and controlled substance recordkeeping during your shifts.

What We're Looking For:

Required:

PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited program.
Active Minnesota pharmacist license in good standing.
Current immunization certification and CPR/BLS certification.
Strong communication skills and comfort with direct patient interaction.
Sound professional judgment and attention to detail.

Preferred:

1+ years of community or independent pharmacy experience.
Experience with PioneerRx / QS1 / Liberty / Rx30] or comparable pharmacy management software.

Schedule:

[16–24] hours per week.
