Spring Park Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy serving the Lake Minnetonka area, where patients are known by name and staff take time to counsel, solve problems, and follow up.
Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Cashier is the first and last point of contact for our patients. This role handles checkout and prescription pick-up, keeps the front end running smoothly, and supports the pharmacists and technicians so they can focus on patient care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly, professional service.
- Process prescription pick-ups and over-the-counter sales accurately on the point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, card, and HSA/FSA payments and balance the cash drawer at start and end of shift.
- Verify patient identity at pick-up and collect required signatures.
- Answer phones, take refill requests, and route medication questions to the pharmacist.
- Assist with drive-thru, curbside pickup, and delivery orders.
- Stock shelves, face products, and help receive shipments.
- Keep the checkout and front-store areas clean and organized.
- Protect patient privacy in line with HIPAA.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with money.
- Friendly, patient communication style.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
